Privacy

This site is run by Conversions Media Limited, 11 Sanderling Court, Abinger Grove, London, SE8 5TE. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What you type into the calculators

Your postcode, your child’s date of birth and your hours are worked out in your browser. We don’t store them unless you sign up for emails. They do appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share your results, so only share that link with people you’re happy to see them.

To find nurseries near you, your postcode is sent to postcodes.io, a free postcode lookup service, to get its location.

If you sign up for emails

We store your email address, the date you signed up, the wording you agreed to, and the details needed to time your reminders: your child’s date of birth or due date, when they start, whether you’re working, and the days and hours you entered. If you signed up from a nursery’s page, we note which nursery.

We use this only to send the reminders you asked for. Our lawful basis is your consent. We don’t sell or share your details. They’re stored with Supabase, our database provider, in London.

We keep your details until you unsubscribe, or for up to a year after your child starts school, whichever is sooner. You can ask us to see, correct or delete them at any time by writing to the address above.

Your rights

You can withdraw consent, and ask to access, correct or delete your data. If you’re unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Where the nursery information comes from

Nursery details come from Ofsted’s register of childcare providers, and prices from each nursery’s own website. Estimates are a guide, not a quote.
